Spade Reunion 2005

Welcome to the webpage of the Spade Family Reunion 2005. It was held on July 23rd and 24th 2005 and was a huge success. It is estimated that 475 people attended over the two days. The first day had at least 350 attendees, and over 100 more were signed in the second day.

The weather was perfect, and the church service was well attended. Special thanks to those who made that happen.

Plans are underway to hold a second reunion in 2007. Many people volunteered to help organize the next one and I must thank them for stepping up to the plate. Please follow the link below to the website for the 2007 reunion.

Being the initial organizer of this year’s event and the owner of this webpage, I have to thank everyone who helped out this year [in the interest of privacy I’m not posting any names] and I commend the efforts of those who spent their time and money to make this a success. This reunion would not have happened if not for your hard work. I also must thank everyone who traveled and those who brought what seemed to be several hundred tons of food. The generosity and good will evidenced throughout this event is something of which we should all be proud.
