George served our country in the United States Army in the 1940s. He was the husband of Martha Lillian ( Pittman) Swisher and the son of John Dickson & Barbara Ellen (Spade) Swisher. His wife was a 5th great-granddaughter of Samuel & Elizabeth Clark.
