Clark Family American Military Veterans (43)
"I, (name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic...." If you have said these words as part of your oath of allegiance into one of the branches of the American armed forces, Thank You.

Welcome to our Clark Family in America web page honoring our (deceased) descendants and the spouses of Clark descendants of Samuel & Elizabeth Clark of Ireland then Providence Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania who served the United States in our armed forces. Clark family descendants have honorably and courageously served in the military from the Civil War to the present.

This family will NEVER FORGET the sacrifices and patriotism demonstrated by our sons and daughters--either active, guard or reserves--and their immediate families. We thank you now and forever for keeping America free. You are our heroes and are an enduring example for all Americans. Spade, Stanley Anthony
(1928 - 2000)

Stanley served our country in the United States Army Air Corp., which later became the United States Air Force. In 1945 when he was seventeen years old, he had his mother sign the enlistment papers for him because he was underage. He retired with 20 years of service in 1965. His military specialty was electronics and when he retired from the Air Force, he moved his family to Houston, Texas to start his own electronics calibration laboratory called Linear Standards Laboratory where they serviced contracts from NASA, among others. He was the husband of Mary Edith (Dart) Spade and the son of Earl Stanley & Ina Daisy (Clark) Spade. He was a 5th great-grandson of Samuel & Elizabeth Clark.
