Clark, William Wesley H.

The form for Wesley William, a.k.a. William Wesley Clark, as completed by the Recruiting Officer, reports "This soldier has gray eyes, dark hair, fair complexion, is Five feet 9 1/2 inches high." The form also states, "Mustered into the service of the United States, for one year or during the war, from date of enlistment in Co. K, 208, Infantry Regiment of Penna Volunteers, on the 7 day of September, 1864, at Camp Curtain, Pa." He mustered out of the Army June 1, 1865 at Alexanderia, VA as a private. His forms also read, "He is also borne as William W. Clark." He was the husband of Catharine 'Katie' (Garlick) Clark and the son of Elias and Esther Hely (Server) Clark. He was a 2nd great-grandson of Samuel & Elizabeth Clark.
