| In the Sir James Henderson School
we often have matches against our rivals in various
different sports including football, basketball and
volley-ball! Football In Football, the school bus is always racing different aged teams girls/boys up and down Milano. Yr.7 Boys= So far, since moving up to upper school, they've played one game which was againstthe ISM and was won by the ISM. A disappointment to our yr.7 boys but a very good try- KEEP IT UP!! Yr.7 Girls= The Year 7 Girls have done a very good job of playing a tough game unfortunately letting the ISM beating them in the second half. Pamela ,one of the team members, has kindly written about the match for us- Yr.8-9 Boys= Out of one game they lost one game but saying that they hadn't had many practises etc!! KEEP TRYING BOYS!! Yr.8-9 Girls= Out of the one game we've played, we victoriously won it. It was a close score but we pulled through in the last 10 minutes. Thetre were a few injuries but all in all our year survived!! Yr.10 Boys= This bunch of lads train every monday and are getting fully ready to play a match with the soon now..GOOD LUCK YR.10!! Yr.11,12 + 13 Boys= !!!!???? All upper school Girls=We train every Thursday but haven't yet played any matches. Basketball In Basket-ball the school bus isn't racing different aged teams around Milan, quite as fast as in football. In basket-ball we've played a few games. We(the yr.8/9 girls) won that one game against the ISM!!! Girls=Train on Monday. Yr.11/12/13= Train On Thursday... In our school many sports are played whether they're played during Break,Lunch,After school,In P.E and then in their free time. Volley-ball As we talk about each sport the preference of the students gets more and more decreased. There is a training session on Tuesday in which any aged student can go and develop their natural talent in volley-ball. Even though most students don't take a liking in this sport we still beat each and every school in Milan (that we play.) Thus showing our pure talent and the excellence of (all) our students skills for each sport -emphasizing this sport, basketball and then football. Volleyball may not be very popular sport in our school, but so far in all the volleyball matches this year, we've been very successful. |
