and wondered what it was all about? Well, I'm here to make a believer out of you!
I have alot of time on my hands lately since going on medical disability and I do love watching movies. I came across Netflix one day and perused the website and I will admit I was a bit skeptical. Then I saw that they offer a free two week trial. So I decided to take them up on the offer.
Netflix has been wonderful. If you rent alot of DVDs you might want to consider this. All you have to do is sign up, scan through oodles of titles and decide what movies you would like to see. Put them in your rental queue and wait for them to arrive in your mail box. You can have up to 3 movies out at a time. When you are finished watching them, you place them back in a PREPAID postage envelope and put it in the mail. It's really as simple as 1*2*3!
I've been involved with Netflix for about 4 months now and have never had a problem. The cost is only $20 a month and if you rent alot of movies then you know this is a good price with no hassle of going to the rental place. You can find netflix at this web address: www.netflix.com

Beyond your wildest dreams
A bridge awaits your footsteps
To places you've not seen
You've sensed it in the midnight
In starlight's silvery glow
The soft touch of a memory
From very long ago
A distant song caresses
A heart so full of sighs
The weight of all your sorrow
Is lifted for a while
The crickets keep the rhythm
A gentle thought remains
Your innocence remembers
A time before the pain
Keep faith and you will see it
This place at journey's end
A paradise He's made for you
You'll cross that bridge with Him

There will be a hole in your household and in your life for a while, and for the first part of that "while" the hole may seem huge. There ARE ways to fill the gap. However, the loss itself is not something you can simply ignore, assuming that your world will adjust itself. Instead, you must deal with that something, just as you would deal with the loss of any other good friend. Yes, it is a different kind of relationship, but to behave otherwise is to try and change your attitude in mid-stride. You cannot expect yourself to think of your pet as a friend and then to dismiss those feelings as disposable because THIS friend happened to be an animal. It is NOT silly to miss your pet, and it is NOT overly sentimental to grieve.
But still, he was pet and not a person, and that makes it more complicated to sort out exactly what you are supposed to do and feel. Although we recognize the individual personalities in pets, that doesn't mean that they are just little people. The relationship you have with your pet is different from any human relationship you may have. We have the responsibility to care for animals and to learn from them. As we domesticated pets, they became dependent upon us for their needs. Part of caring for them, especially in a technologically advanced society, often means deciding when an animal can no longer live a happy life or even a content one.
When an animal is made a pet by a responsible, caring person, he is being given exactly what he needs and wants: his "creature comforts", companionship, and the opportunity to return the favor through loyalty and affection. Dogs, especially, are naturally eager to please the "leader of the pack", and the owner takes on that role. So the dog is never happier than when he knows that he is pleasing that person. When he is too old or too sick to respond in the way HE thinks he should, he can't understand why and feels the anxiety of failure.
Because their natural life-spans are shorter than ours, we usually outlive our pets. However, the life you shared cannot simply be abandoned. Don't deny yourself the thoughts, memories, and feelings that your pet's life deserves. You may decide to fill the hole with another pet. However, you can never replace the special bond you held with the one who is gone.

If you have arthritis, the use of the following herbs can be beneficial: alfalfa leaves, black cohosh, brigham tea, celery seed, chaparral leaves, comfrey, devil's claw tea, feverfew, parsley tea, valerian root, and yucca extract.
Avoid milk. Vitamin D causes sore joints. Also avoid red meat, sugar products, citrus fruits, green peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, potatoes, paprika, cayenne pepper, tobacco, and salt. Exercise is essential for reducing pain and retarding joint deterioration. Hot tubs and baths provide relief. Raw lemon rubs and hot castor oil packs are also extremely beneficial.
A free form amino acid complex should be part of the program to help repair tissue. Some form of fiber, such as oat bran or rice bran, should be eaten daily, and the diet should be low in fats. Foods that SHOULD be consumed include eggs, onions, garlic and asparagus. The nightshade vegetables (green peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, white potatoes) contain a toxin called sotanine that people, particularly those suffering from arthritis, are highly sensitive to it. Sotanine interferes with enzymes in the muscles, and may cause pain and discomfort.
DO NOT TAKE IRON. It is suspected to be involved in pain, swelling, and joint destruction.
The drugs piroxicam and indomethacin relieve pain more efficiently than aspirin. Researchers report that the ulcer drug, Carafate, can give the same relief as aspirin and other anti-inflammatory drugs without damaging the stomach lining. The drug SUPROL (also known as suprofen) can harm the kidneys.
God Bless.
