how to make your own reusable pad (page 5)

make a button hole on one of the wings in the direction shown on the picture. my sewing machine doesnt have a buttonhole maker, so i just use a running stitch/straight stitch/plain stitch and sew a tiny little rectangle and then cut a slit in the middle (make sure you make the rectangle the right size for your button)

line the pad up as if you are going to fasten the button, the pad should be just tighter than just folded over (about 2 or 3mm tighter (so it will hold onto your underpants tightly).

sew a button on in the right spot.

practice doing up the button just for fun (and i guess to check that you have sewn it onto the right spot, laughs, i did it on the wrong side of the wing once! hehe!)
