step 3... cut out your pieces of pad

you should have three pieces that look like this (see picture) --->

step 4... hem the wings (optional)

hem the wings slightly if you want to, (fold the end of each wing over 5mm and sew. (optional step)

step 5... fold the wings in

fold the wings in like this til the wings are the desired length (one should be about 3 and1/2cm and the other 4 and 1/2cm).

notice in the picture that the wings fold in so the ends go into the space of the middle section of the pad, this is important. ---->
