Tommy Holland is Of Counsel to the Atlanta law firm of Carter & Ansley, and has extensive experience as lead counsel in a wide variety of cases, including those involving negligent and intentional torts, products liability, defamation, medical malpractice, and insurance coverage and other contractual disputes. Mr. Holland also represents life insurance companies and managed healthcare entities in life, health, disability and ERISA litigation.
Mr. Holland joined Carter & Ansley in 1968 after serving five years in the Navy JAG Corps. He retired from Naval Reserve with the rank of Captain. Before serving in the Navy, Mr. Holland graduated from Mercer University School of Law in 1962, and received his undergraduate education at Mercer University.
Mr. Holland was born in Tifton, Georgia. He was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1962. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association, and the Lawyers Club of Atlanta. He is admitted to practice in all trial courts in Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Eleventh and Fifth Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia.
