The Line Creek Civitan Club meets on the first and third Thursdays of every month, beginning at 6:30 p.m.. There is generally a guest speaker or program, followed by a brief business meeting. 2006 Chili Challenge
The 2006 Chili Challenge was held Saturday, November 4, 2006, Shakerag Park, Peachtree City, from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. Chairperson for the event was Jane Gottardi.

This event is an annual "culinary extravaganza" featuring competition in various categories and including contestants from both professional and novice community businesses, civic clubs and organizations, restaurants, and various other groups and individual participants.
All proceeds from this event are used to support local community charities and Civitan projects that work to improve the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities. Some of the programs and organizations supported by Civitans in Peachtree City and our surrounding communities include the YMCA program for individuals with developmental disabilities, the American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life", Special Olympics, Special People of Fayette County, DART (Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation for Teens), Southwest Christian Hospice, and the Civitan International Research Center, a facility which conducts re-search into the causes of developmental disabilities and provides clinical services/programs for those affected by developmental disabilities.
