When I went to PS 197, I lived directly across East 23rd Street. The address was 2301 Kings Highway.

Upon graduation, I went to James Madison High School, just a few blocks away. I graduated from JMHS in June of 1950.

I then went to Brooklyn College, from where I graduated in June 1954.

I got married in April of 1954, to Sheila Berliner. My former wife graduated from JMHS in June of 1952 and went on to the Fashion Institute of Techology.

I have three (3) cousins who attended James Madison:

• Paul Schenker, graduated in 1949
• Joan Schenker, graduated in 1953
• Mark Levine, graduated in 1955
  

I had two daughters with Sheila:

• Lynn
• Cindy

I have three grandsons:

• Jason
• Eric
• Brandon

Sheila and I were divorced in 1974 and in 1981 Roberta Brodsky and I were married. She is also a Brooklynite, but not from our neighborhood.

We now live in Los Angeles, CA.

We are both retired.
