Venison Recipe Project
Deer meat is abundant in the southeastern U.S. Unfortunately many folks including myself do not know how to prepare deer meat so that it actually tastes good. Every piece of deer meat I tried had a strong flavor to it, similar to lamb meat or mutton, only stronger. It is a cooking challenge to make a desirable main course meal from venison. I challenge anyone with a good venison recipe to share it with the rest of the world.
