POTHIMALA GALLERY: Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Topi

Brief Description :The Topi (Cap) that originally belonged to Guru Nanak Dev Ji the 1st Sikh Guru is made of very fine Silk and Due to age is Torn in some places. A Few generations ago it was sewn inside and outer casing so as to protect the original Topi. This Topi is still in our possessions and kept along with the other Relics in the Pothimala Building at Guruharsahai.

It is a custom that the Gaddi Nashin of Pothimala wears this Topi on New Sambat day every year when the Relics of Guru Nanak Dev Ji are displayed for Darshan to the Devotees at Pothimala during the annual Mela.
