'The other day I was visiting a friend when I noticed a large painting of him on the wall. It was a caricature, and even from a distance I could see that the features were perfect. the creator had captured my friend impeccably. there were the usual accentuations such as his rather colossal snout and chin, his shaggy brows, chicken legs and gangly hands. There were also the added insights into his love for rugby and beer, with images of trophies and empty schooners. But as I stepped closer I could see that there was more to this cartoon than artistic skill. There was life, and mischievous undertone that reflected my friend better than words. And I knew, before I even looked at the scrawled signature at the base, it had to be by..David Green'
