St. George Neck piece This beautiful piece of neck jewelry is one a young female dancer of the Group ARGO was given by her grandmother. It's made of many pieces to create an intricate pattern with a marvelous center piece that has the picture of St. George as a knight sleighing the dragon. In the pictures we see a close up of this piece and how it is worn. I have also found an old picture showing a women wearing, to what it looks like, the same piece of jewelry. (This is now being reproduced and worn by females in Pontian Cultural dance organisations) |
