This web site can be used as a guide for informational purposes and provide an avenue for collaboration with the Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Programs in their respective areas. It can also serve as a resource for and a bridge between Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Programs and Educational Institutions.
- Recruitment of qualified personnel in Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Programs, also known as Section 121 Projects.
- To recruit American Indians with Disabilities who have an interest in working with Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation programs.
- To increase the awareness of the need to serve American Indians with disabilities living on or near Indian reservation or rancherias.
- To provide access to up-to-date information and resources available in the field of Vocational Rehabilitation.
- Provide a focal point to locate accurate and easy to understand information regarding Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Programs.
- Promote and increase an awareness to a broad and diverse audience. The Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation web page is now available for use.
- Provide information on Universities in the State of California that offer a graduate degree in Vocational Rehabilitation or a distance learning approach through San Diego State University Interwork Institute.
