Pentecost Island is world famous for its Land divers. The original Bungee Jumpers. They perform their N'gol during April and May each year. We had to walk through mud to see them but it was worth it. They construct a home made wooden platform about 30 metres tall and jump with vines around their ankles. Very spectacular.
Kava Juice
We tried some Kava juice. We filmed as the village men squeezed the Kava from the Kava root and the juice was then filtered through a banana leaf into a coconut shell. It looked like dirty brown water. It made us feel a light headed afterwards! IT cost about $5 Australian
