I have been collecting Pfaltzgraff Folk Art dishes and accessories since the early 1990's. When the pattern was discontinued in 1996, my "collection" consisted of about 30 pieces. Since then, it has grown to nearly 500 pieces, much of it purchased at local thrift and consignment shops. I have also been able to add to my collection through Pfaltzgraff's "By Request" and "Connections" programs, and eBay online auctions.

Always on the look out for new pieces to add to my collection, I have a long and growing wishlist of items I'd like to have. Click here to see my Folk Art wish list.

I use my Folk Art daily, with the exception of some of the harder to replace pieces, which I keep on display, and use on special occasions. Click here for photos of my collection.

If you'd like to join the Folk Art Collectors' Club, click on the "Folk Art Collectors; Club" link at left and follow the instructions to join the club! Membership is $12.00 per year, and includes a subscription to the Folk Art Collectors' Club Newsletter. Sandy Anderson, the club's founder, has compiled a comprehensive illustrated Pfaltzgraff Folk Art Reference Guide, available for purchase in both color and black & white versions, which is a must have for the serious collector.

In addition to collecting Folk Art, I am also a writer (as yet unpublished, although I do produce an annual family newsletter, The Gallington Gazette), and an avid gardener and crafter (sewing and crocheting).Click here for photos of my garden.

This is totally off topic, but just had to share these photos of my grandmother-in-law, who celebrated her 102nd birthday on December 25, 2006.
