Our family tree currently centers in Alabama where the seven children of Denise and Elven grew up. When we examined our roots, we found branches from all over the country and the world.

The Matson name was traced to Sweden and the Yancey name is believed to originate in Wales.

So far, the Morgan line has been traced as far as New Jersey and the Whittaker line to England.
