Although I am a newly ordained minister, I have recieved excellent training in the ministry of marriage through coursework provided by the Rev. Amy Long of Elk Grove, California. I work hard to make sure that your wedding is something to enjoy and remember always. The creed of my marriage ministry as well as the underlying principles of my ordination are to be respectful of and serve all who come to me.  I provide services to all who are willing and legally able to get married. Those interested in a renewal of vows, or even a comitment ceremony are welcome as well.

 

Services

 The service I provide is totally up to you, and the experience you desire. I provide both formal and informal services, from a small intimate setting, to a larger more formal setting. I also specialize in last minute intimate services as well. When we get together for a consultation, I look to you to show me how you envision your ceremony to be. You arrange how everyone enters, and leaves the ceremony, as well as where everyone is to stand. At the consultation we will discuss every aspect of the ceremony. You tell me if you would like a religious or secular ceremony,  and then you can tell me if there are any traditions you would like to include (such as a candle lighting ceremony, a wine ceremony, etc.). I will then present you with ceremonies that I already have arranged, as broken down parts of ceremonies I have that you may put together to customize your own wedding. It's entirely up to you. Once you have decided on the type of ceremony and what's included, on your wedding day you'll be able to enjoy this customized testament to your love and devotion to eachother.

 

Fees

Fees for my service are totally dependant on the type of service I will be conducting. This will be discussed during our initial phone conversation just to get it out of the way. The price for a basic ceremony with a consultation ranges from $100 - $125 depending on certain factors, usually it's the lower amount. This will include a consultation with you, your future spouse, and myself. This will also include planning materials. I will also provide time before the ceremony to go over the ceremony with the bride and groom to make sure everything goes smoothly. After the ceremony I will stay for photography if that is desired, and afterwards will sign the license with the bride and groom. A deposit is required at the time of the consultation to cover the cost of the materials and to secure your date and time. The remaining balance can be paid by the best man before the ceremony. There may be additional charges for travel if it is out of my area.

If you need someone to perform an intimate or informal ceremony at the last minute, or you wish to get married right away in an intimate or informal setting, with a civil ceremony already arranged then the charge is $60. There is no consultation for this type of ceremony other than a quick get together before the ceremony to explain the service, answer questions, and take care of the license.
