Hello and welcome to my little site! What you see above is the Scottish flag. I am leaving that up in homage to the fun times I had studying abroad at the University of St. Andrews last semester. There are some pictures uploaded from then, I hope to get some Bowdoin (my regular school in the U.S.) pictures up eventually.
Drop me an email, let me know what you think of this and let me know if you have a site you want me to link to or a picture I can load here or something. Also, I would just love to hear from you!
Please don't forget to sign my guestbook! Seriously...please....I have spent a bit of time on this and love the feedback, accolades, criticism, jokes, or anything... Anyway, glad you checked this out! Hope you are doing well!
Lots of Love, Miss Meredith Miller Hoar

| Tenderheart Bear You are thinker, organizer, peacekeeper, and leader all in one. You have a power to command attention and people listen to you. However, you are often so concerned about not hurting others' feelings that you don't tell them what they need to hear and this gets you both into trouble. But you always have loyal friends to help you out. |

Which Colossal Death Robot Are You?
The best places I visited in Europe:
- Toulouse, France - Le Capitolium, the city in general (especially seeing my friend Kate)
- Barcelona, Spain - The Picasso museum
- Barcelona - La Sagrada Familia, the cathedral partially designed and overseen by Barcelona's favorite artist, Gaudi
- Paris, France - L'Arc De Triomphe, for its beautiful architecture and excellent view of the city.
- Paris - Notre Dame Cathedral - This place was unbelievably gorgeous! The stained glass, the relics, the sculpture...I was completely overcome by its beauty.
- Paris - The Louvre Museum. Christina and I toured a good bit of this FANTASTIC art collection, including the Venus De Milo, Winged Victory of Samothrace, lots of cool Egytian art, and of course the Mona Lisa!
- St. Andrews, Scotland - The Cathedral Ruins (the center of medieval Christianity in Scotland, but it was torn down by John Knox adherents) and the pier right next to it going out into the North Sea.
- Edinburgh - St. Giles Cathedral and the Royal Mile...although Karen I were getting rained on and blown over by the wind, we still had a fun time in this cool cool city.
- Glasgow - I toured around this major city with my parents, the highlight was the national museum's collection of ancient weaponry and armour
- Loch Lomond - Took a boat tour of Scotland's largest lake
- Stirling - Visited the wonderful castle and the Robert Bruce monument
- Doune - A cool castle, but mostly notable for the fact the Monty Python's Holy Grail was filmed! How awesome is that...watch out for flying cows!
- Bannockburn - the heritage site and William Wallace monument
- Brugge, Belgium - this gorgeous little town was fun to walk around in and take a canal tour of, a good place to buy chocolate and lace, and had a great Jan Van Ecyk exhibition
- Gent - A larger city, this had probably the most beautiful cathedral I've ever seen (St. Bavo's) and a gorgeous altarpiece/painting by Van Ecyk that was just stunning.
- Antwerp - Although we didn't spend a ton of time here, we saw this city's shopping district and world-famous diamonds
- Brussels - Went to a small cathedral (Notre Dame du Sablon) and a modern art exhibition at the national gallery
- Amsterdam, Holland - This city was beautiful! We went to the Van Gogh museum, Rijksmuseum, did a canal tour, and RAN through the Red light district just to say that we'd been there, okay?
- Haarlam/Lisse - These two not-as-close-to-each-other-as-we-thought Dutch towns were both cute. In the latter, we went to the amazing Keukenhof gardens and saw literally millions of tulips both in gardens and in immense fields to be shipped around the world. Wow. It was soooo lovely.
