The Ritual (written by Lone Wolf)
Merry Meet and Merry Part
Till once more meet anon
For ere we meet our life complete
When th' Lady's work be done
So grab your wand and goblet
And journey to sacred grove
For through the river freely run
The Horned God nears the cove
Cast the circle, set the table
Dei'ty joins us soon
Dance around the sacred altar
To ask for th' Lady's boon
When Moonlight sheds Her glowing rays
'Cross all within the Ring
We shall know our Lady's ways
And hear Her melodious sing
Joining do we hand to hand
As hand from hand we close
For the Ancients' celebration
And the truth in part we know
THE MAGICK FISH POND (written by GeorgeAnne)
In a town that I`ll call Magickville,
there was a chap named Jackie Hill.
He wasn`t the envy of all the boys,
for Jackie Hill, he had no toys.
His poor old father had no money,
but always bread to fill his tummy.
His mother mended shoes of leather,
but love`s what held the three together.
One day when Jackie took a walk,
the forest trees began to talk.
They spoke of an enchanted fish,
that sure would make a tasty dish.
Excitement filled this happy boy,
even the forest was filled with joy.
Then they all got quiet as a mouse,
`cause the pond`s beyond a Witch`s house.
He left right after breakfast time,
with a can of worms and fishing line.
He was only frightened a little bit,
about this very creepy trip.
The road was muddy on the way,
and rainy in the forest on that day.
The lightning flashed, the thunder clapped,
and Jackie prayed he`d not be zapped.
Then all of a sudden, the clouds did clear,
and before his eyes was a magic mirror.
The mirror did say, "Don`t be afraid,
the Witch blessed me to give you aid".
Jackie then looked over to his right,
and there he saw a wondrous sight.
There stood the Witch, by her front porch.
She was beautiful and she held a torch.
"I`ll help you catch your fish, you see,
and all I ask`s a favor of thee.
Teach the village to see with new eyes,
that I`m not wicked, please still their cries."
She tapped Jackie`s pole with her magick wand,
then cast his line in the murky pond.
In less than a minute, he landed that fish.
What a wonderful Witch, Jackie got his wish.
The villagers gathered for an awesome feast
of fresh caught fish and roasted beast.
Lots of fruits, veggies and homemade pies
and tears of joy filled all their eyes.
Then all the townsfolk gave their thanks
and promised the Witch there`d be no more pranks.
No more sneaking in the darkness of the night
to scare the beautiful Witch into a fright.
They all live peacefully now in the little town
and everyone smiles, there`s no more frowns.
Out of that pond many fish are still landed
`cause of Jackie`s goodness, his wish`s still granted.
