Background
Malay Student's Association in Canberra (MASAC) is an association which consists of all Malay students
from Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei who are currently studying in Canberra.The number of members is increasing and now we have about 50 members.There are several missions to be undertaken by MASAC which are to unite all the Malay students from those three countries, to take care of the welfare of its members and to be one of the means for the members to get together and have a discussion about their academic, profession, or many others.
In order to achieve these missions, a lot of activities had been held.There were tour trips,indoor soccer matches, and BBQ.There were also some religous activities such as Yaasin recitation and Solat Hajat.Many more interesting activities are in our schedule and going to be held soon.
Furthermore, MASAC also participated in several occasions organized by High Commission of Malaysia and Malaysian Student's Department such as Malaysia YDP Agung's birthday celebration, family day, and Khemah Ibadat.Hopefully, this positive participation will strengthen the relationship between MASAC and those bodies.
