THE CRYING EAGLE

As I look at the symbol and very strength of America and to watch the Eagle weep over what has befallen America, I am made to think what God's word said, "JESUS WEPT". Could God be weeping over America today? I think of what He said to the people of Jerusalem, See Matthew 23: 37-38 "O Jerusalem Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets and stoniest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathered her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate". Does God weep over America today? If we as Americans had listened to God's teachings, would our symbol need to be weeping?

Has God withdrawn His hand of protection from us? Or maybe just pulled it back to just give us a glimpse of what could happen if we don’t allow Him back in our schools, courts, homes and most important of all our personal lives. I have security bars on my window's and door's. I had a window to go bad and I had to have the bar's removed to be able to replace the bad window. As I stood there and looked out, I couldn't help but think how close I was to the outside world with very little protection. Nothing but a little pane of thin glass. Is that where America stands today?

As our President has used the term "evil doers" right here in America. Maybe not the kind that would do the same things that happened on September the 11th; but we have them that leaves God out of their lives. In the absence of light there is darkness; darkness breeds evil. In the absence of God there is evil. We have "evil doers" in our courts, our government, our schools and most places that are to numerous to mention.
