A number of Visual Interfaces
are available for Polyana and Optimist models.
(P.C.) which allow pointer composition of messages and in the case of the
Optimist, the touch screen facilitates stylus use. This is a
representation of one such visual interface.
Winspeak
This program allows a person with no speech to communicate using a computer.
The program is based on the use of symbols. Those users with reasonable
literacy skills should look at our companion program, Windbag
which is based on text instead of symbols.
Pocket Winspeak
This version of Winspeak will run on a Pocket PC. Edit the
grids on a PC and transfer them to your Pocket PC, using our simple transfer
program.
Windbag
Windbag is a very powerful means of communication for people with speech
difficulties. It is the most comprehensive communication program currently
available, allowing a number of ways to speed up the selection of messages.
HandsOFF!
HandsOFF! provides access to computers for people with motoric
difficulties. With one or two switches, the user can manipulate any number
of on-screen keyboards—including the full range of mouse controls. It is the
most comprehensive on-screen keyboard program currently available.
ProtoType
ProtoType runs alongside of your other application programs
and provides help with your typing before the text gets to your main
application. It is useful both for slow typists and those with dyslexia.
Win Commander
Win Commander allows your computer to access a special
infrared environmental control unit (ECU) that is connected to its serial
port. The ECU can learn the codes of other infrared remote control units
such as those used with TV sets and other entertainment systems.
InGrid
InGrid is a cut down version of HandsOFF! (our
on-screen keyboard program). InGrid works with a mouse (no
switch scanning) and does not allow as many commands to be included.
PICTOCOM SE
PICTOCOM SE is a software application of Pictogram Symbols.
The bold, clear graphic symbols provide a crisp visual cue for selection —
the program provides human voice speech output. PICTOCOM SE is
complete, effective, and efficient.
