but i guess its my tone
that strikes you off chord
and makes you stay
away
i guess its this new
isolation
its making me hate everything
especially the voices i hear in the distance
because you're so distant
apparently you've been reading me the wrong way
and i wish i weren't such an open book
i should just sit back
and wait
because we all know how the story goes
