A round table discussion was held at the June meeting. We compared the pros and cons of vinyl versus VCT tile. The general response was that vinyl is softer than VCR, thus tearing more easily. Vinyl is easy to clean and is one continuous sheet. VCT tile is installed in squares, which can be replaced as needed. It is more durable than vinyl. The newest type is easy to maintain. It has a long-lasting sealer in it. Occasionally it needs to be burnished. Most members preferred the tile to the vinyl.
