Do
You Know
I spent much of my
early life in Queensland country towns.
One such town had a well known river running through it and a major
company that has at different times been known for producing timber, ships and
railway rolling stock. In my early twenties,
I met my wife to be after my family moved to Brisbane.
One of my lesser-known
talents was playing the piano accordion, although my music teacher “Ozzie
Mazzi” was well known. I married in
1961, but as a member of the armed forces, we moved around quite a bit. We had four children and currently have
seven grandchildren. Most of our
married life was lived in Brisbane and after leaving the navy I earned my
living as a master tradesman.
Although I have lost
much of my hair, I have kept my sense of humour.
Who am I?
