The Marlboro Morris Ale

The Great Meadows Grand Finale began with the three rapper teams performing simultaneously...

...then linking up into one gigantic 15-member set, with an equally gigantic lock (second from left). We ended with a succession of carefully-timed flips along the line.

The swordlock didn't stay in place during our departure from the stage. Oh well. We had a group hug with our squire (center) and then the obligatory Team Photo.

We weren't quite done yet, however. We crashed the introduction for Great Western Morris (with their permission, of course), until they chased everyone -- including the photographer -- away, so they could do their own grand finale, which included comandeering a police cruiser and persuading the officer to give them an escort, with siren blaring, down the street.

To further commemorate the occasion, participants staged what may have been the largest group-sit in morris ale history.

Back at Marlboro College, the Sunday Feast awaited. Afterwards, some Great Meadows members gave a try at dancing "Maid of the Millennium," taught to us by Great Western.

...and then it was back home the next day, to dry off, catch up on our sleep and think about what a great time we had.
