Dorothy DeLora (Olinger) Hill (1899-1963)


Dorothy DeLora Olinger was born October 30, 1899, in Erie, the daughter of George W. Jr. and Louise (Slocum) Olinger.

She went to school at East Sandridge (near Erie) and Morrison. She worked at the telephone company in Erie and was an accomplished seamstress and homemaker.

On February 21, 1922, she was married to Clyde Frederick Hill in Morrison. They had one daughter, Gloria Louise.

Mrs. Hill loved birds and cats and enjoyed decorating Easter eggs and making doll clothes.

She died September 27, 1963, in Chicago.
