He was married to Marie M. Hulslander on December 22, 1928, in Atkinson. They were engaged in farming until 1955, when they purchased and began operating Duffy’s Tavern in Erie.
Mr. Floming died at Morrison Hospital on December 12, 1962, at the age of 58. He was survived by his wife, three adult children and their spouses, and 12 grandchildren.
