I.-5 .Other (please explain in text field below):

J. Waiting area, washrooms

J.-1. I would like to see the waiting area and washrooms on the south side of the Union Steamship parking lot with a foot passenger ramp on that side.

J.-2. I would like to see a waiting area and washrooms located on the Municipal Dock (the area formerly used for pickup/drop-off).

J.-3. I would like the waiting area and washrooms to stay where they are but have a building expanding the narrow corridor to accomodate both facilities.

J.-4 I see no need to change what's there.

J.-5. Other (please explain in text field below):

K. - Pickup/Drop-off

Currently the pickup/drop-off area is in front of Blue Eyed Mary's.

What and where do you think the best place for this area is? Please keep in mind that the Municipal Wharf would need complete re-building to accomodate cars. The funding currently allocated to fix the wharf would not cover the costs of being able to accomodate cars. Also keep in mind where a foot passenger ramp would be placed and the waiting area and washrooms. Also keep in mind the elderly, disabled and those with heavy loads or small children and babies.

K.-1. The pickup/drop-off area is fine where it is.

K.-2. The pickup/drop-off area should be near or a part of the southside Union Steamship parking lot and the foot passenger ramp on the south municipal dock.

K.-3. A semi-circle that cuts into where the current washroom/waiting area are, with the remaining end of the circle dug into the land on the northside of property bordering the outside lane of the offloading road. The foot passenger ramp should be on the north muncipal wharf. A sidewalk to accomodate foot passengers to the crosswalk at Cardena Rd. should be incorporated.

K.-4 Other (please enter your suggestion in the text field below):

L. - Traffic Circles

Traffic circles have been in use in cities and small communities for a long time and prove effective in many circumstances. We would like to know if you think traffic circles would be effective for ferry marshalling and general traffic in Snug Cove.

L..-1. I don't see the need for traffic circles (please enter comments on why in text field below)

L.2.- I think a traffic circle at the Trunk Rd./Millers Rd. intersection would be effective.

L.3.. I think a traffic circle at the intersection of Cardena Rd./Trunk Rd. would be effective.

L.-4. I think a traffic circle at both the Trunk/Millers and Trunk/Cardena intersections would be effective.

L.-5. Other (please submit comments in text field below).

M. - Special Needs and Concerns:

If you are elderly or disabled or have special needs we would like to know how we might best accomodate you for ease of waiting time, travel etc.. We are also willing to pass your comments on to B.C. Ferries or you can email them at:
