About Me

Hi, my name is Natalie!

I decided to make a website about the one thing that means the most to me...my family!

At the age of 22, I gave birth to my first child and really wanted her to know where she comes from. With little information on my family roots I went down to my local Mormon church and began the tedious job of researching where my father's family came from. After months of looking, monthly memberships and hundreds of dollars later I came up with some amazing facts. This started me on my life long quest to find every family member I can. I also felt that the information I acquired was pretty impressive to share with other Chisholm's world wide. Not only just my pedigree but the history that surrounds our last name. 

When my great-great grandfather was forced from his land, he along with his wife Isabella, 6 children and their relatives, boarded three ships: The Sarah, The Dove & The Hector and headed towards Pictou, Nova Scotia. It is there that our Canadian roots were planted.

We have a prince, farmers, police officers, singers, a queen, a castle, and Chisholm lands in Strathglass, Scotland.

In summary, family is THE most important thing that we have. (Some people don't even have that.) But we all have friends, and the friends that I do have are a part of my family. I cherish each and every person in my life and even those that I meet or with whom I pass by on a daily basis plays a very important role in who I am. I see my great-great grandfather as a hero. With absolutely nothing but each other, they managed to relocate the entire family to this beautiful country in search of a better life. They found it!
