New 3/23/05: All Dylan, all the time. That's all I want from my life: Don't Think Twice, It's All Right.

New 2/11/05: I got tired of Ben having the only songs with harmony so I decided to get it all out of my system with this song, Neurons. Probably inspired by brain-talk in my psych class, but overall just ad-libbed words. Listen past the words and it's classic rock.

New 1/26/05: I wish I could make my guitar sound like The E Street Band. Unfortunately I can't, so this is my solo acoustic version of Springsteen's Thunder Road, complete with weird mess-up and obvious cover up and sketch ending. Enjoy amateur recording at its best.

New 1/13/05: I discovered a simple recording program called Sound Studio so I decided I wanted to make some lo-fi covers of some songs that have been in my head like whoa lately. Ben does backup vocals on a couple and that rules. Make sure to check these out.

  1. Expo '86 - Death Cab for Cutie
  2. Shelter from the Storm - Bob Dylan
  3. See You Soon - Coldplay
  4. Both Sides Now - Joni Mitchell
  5. With God on Our Side - Bob Dylan

I had remove "This is All a Scene" to free up some space and because it sucked.

New 12/7/04: It's a busy week and I'm not sure when I'll be able to get some vocals down on this, so I figured I'd post it: Examination in its current instrumental format. I have words written, just no time to record them right now. I'll reupdate it when I do. UPDATE: I recorded the lyrics and they sucked, so it's staying instrumental for the time being.

New 12/1/04: Since it's officially December, I officially tried to be like Nat King Cole, but failed on many accounts. My take on The Christmas Song, (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire). Kinda breathy, but I dig it.

New 11/16/04: Ben and I got our hands on a line-in converter for a patch cord, so I finished Expressway. I like it a lot.

Updated 11/15/04: I got some more space, so here's The Writer's Block EP again. For those who aren't smart, it's called that because I couldn't write any words for any of them at the time:

  1. July 7
  2. Absolutely Sweetheart
  3. Red Sox Win Game 6
  4. All the Hype

New 11/13/04: Halleluja, because everyone should cover someone else's cover song. My cheap attempt at Jeff Buckley-isms.

New 11/9/04 Night: You Don't Want to Change, an old song I finally got recorded. From my May 2004 creative burst.

New 11/9/04 Afternoon: Things are Strangely the Same and its original acoustic version.

New 11/8/04: Collaboration with Shaun - he wrote the words and basic riff, I fleshed it out and sang it: Replace You with My Music. Check it out.
