ARTICLES

The articles below were written by members of Einauga Kindred, and are placed here for use by all. If you choose to reprint these articles, in any form, we would appreciate that credit be given to the respective author.

GINNUNGAGAP - an essay on Heathen cosmology. This was the first essay ever written by our Wéofodžegn, and its age shows. We put it here because we think its approach is especially appropriate for those new to Heathenism. Our Wéofodžegn's views have matured considerably since this article was written, but in the interest of posterity we have left it as it first appeared.

The Gods of Heathenism - a brief description of the gods Einauga Kindred honours. This list is far from complete, and is updated and improved on a regular basis.

Heaven - an examination of this ancient and abused word... and how it tells us a lot about our ancestors beliefs regarding the afterlife.

The Holy Year - a brief description of the holy tides of the year which Einauga Kindred holds.

Horse Heads and Tree Trunks - an article that dealt with the infamous pole of insult. It was started back in 1998 and hasn't been completed (the concepts are still being researched at this time). We hope to have the article completed very soon.

In Defense of a Clergy - Clergy... are you for it, or against it? Either way you many want to read what we have to say about ti before you make up your mind.

The Mother's Night Blót - a blessing in honour of the Idesa. This will give you an idea of how we hold the holy tides of the year.

The Symbols of Heathenism - a brief introduction to the holy signs and symbols of the Germanic peoples.

Why We Can't Support the Heathens Against Hate Web Ring, and Why We Don't Think You Should Either! - The premise seemed sound, Heathens proudly declaring that they were opposed to the small, but often loud, group of people constantly trying to inject their ideologies into the larger Heathen culture. But then

Žrymskviša Mummer's Play - Brian's recently completed work. A theatrical rendition of the classic tale of Žunor loosing his hammer, and regaining it once again. The play was done in the style of a traditional English Mummer's play.  Especially appropriate for Ewemeoluc.

Žrymskviša Photographic Montage - Pictures from the first performance!

We have more articles on the way, check back often!
