Times change. And people need to change along with them. The "old ways" no longer apply to the 'here and now.' At least, that was Moira's outlook on things. Yet, old habits and prejudices were hard to break, so she was coming to find out. Trust. A difficult commodity to come by. Something to be earned, and once earned - not taken for granted. Not an easy thing in her current profession, or ... come to think of it, her former one either.


From the time of the Great Rhydin Dragon Wars, when man and dragon fought together, clan against clan, up until the age of 'The Parting,' when the rift between dragon and men forever severed the bonds of kinship, there has always been the revered profession of: Dragonslayer.


The line of Valleran stretched back eons, as had the line of Warfang. Descendants of the great clan "fathers" still spoke with pride at the telling of their family's lineage. Tales being told and retold around the campfires of the mighty warrior/dragon clans, long since becoming the 'stuff of which legends are made.'
