Welcome to the Downey Web Site.
This is a work in progress and will be updated constantly. I have several different projects in the works for this site.
FIRST - I have started my research in Lebanon, Ohio, where my ancestors came from Virginia. There have been many people who have contributed, like Ken Storm, for one, who have my heartfelt thanks. I hope that all my contributors are mentioned in my sources. Without them, this project would only be half done.
SECOND- In addition to Downey lines, I am also researching the Irons (Iorns), Kibbey (Kibby, Kibbe), Runyan (Runyon, Runnion, Runnian), Snook and Worley lines from the Warren County, Ohio area. I am working on other sites for these names, and will provide links and they are set up.
THIRD- I am working on photos of the Cemeteries and markers for the above related family. These will also be on the site are they are finished.
