Your Home for Hope
This is the webpage of Our
Depression Message Board, an EZBoard family which has
been chatting, growing, and helping each other for several
years now. Most of us suffer from depression, OCD, or other
mental/mood disorders. Our Board is a place you can call home,
make your friends "family" and always find someone who cares,
and is willing to listen. We are are a fun family, and we'd
love to meet you!
There's no need to worry that your
story is so different that no one will understand. We have
heard many stories of other's experiences with depression
or anxiety that many times mirror our own, and many that we
have not experienced ourselves. We also hear from people who
suffer from OCD, self mutilation and other forms of mental
illness. People come here looking for support when they're
on the brink of suicide. No one is turned away or judged no
matter what their story may be. If you come to our message
board, you will see that posts are usually answered the same
day if not in just a matter of an hour or two.
This site is growing. For now, you
can check out some great depression resources, some of the
fun places our members hang out on the internet, and get the
lowdown on our chat room. Enjoy!
Our Board Rules:
There are some ground rules that are
very important to me. Not everyone is comfortable with foul
language. So I'll have to ask that you respect this. Attacks
on anyone on this board will not be tolerated. This may be
cause to delete your post, or a complete ban. I take this
VERY seriously! If you have a problem with another poster
or in using this message board, there are moderators that
you can contact at the bottom of the board. This board is
mainly for depression, anxiety and other related mental illnesses
and questions about medications. We may not be able to answer
a question, but will do all we can to find the answer for
you. If you're new to the message board, there will be some
friends of mine here who have great shoulders to cry on and
a wealth of information they have gathered from their own
experiences. But we are not professionals, nor claim to be.
Just fellow sufferers. Also, remember that what's right or
has worked for one person may not be what's right for you.
Your personal set of circumstances will always influence whats's
best or right for you. Please seek proffessional help as needed.
Register and join
with us in helping each other with any problems dealing with
depression, anxiety or other related mental health illnesses.
