Our Daughter, Erin Tevelow is participating in a triathlon in Washington, DC in August, 2008 for the benefit of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Following is a message from Erin: 

I am training to participate in my second endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this event in honor of my Great Aunt Myra Miller who lost her life to leukemia nearly 2 years ago, to my friend and co-worker Kristen Palmer who battled and survived a deadly blood cancer, and to all of those people out there depending on our fundraising to save their lives.

Please make a donation to support my big effort and big event! I promise you won't regret it, and I ABSOLUTELY CAN'T do it without you! It is a great feeling to have the means to help others. And remember...the same research into blood cancers in humans is also used in the treatment of animals suffering from the very same diseases.
