Hi Everyone!
Wow how this summer is flying by! August 5 is here, so in about a month it'll be time to go back to school, woo hoo! Not! Hopefully you can enjoy the rest of your summers, and be ready to work really hard once school starts again!
Our season is going extremely well! It's awesome to see how much fun everyone is having while learning lots of new skills, becoming better as an individual and as a team. With only 8 girls this week, we managed to tie Knights of Columbus 1-1, who had 14 girls there! Everyone played excellent although they had no rest... both goalies played excellent, the defence and midfield was great, as was the lone forward. Sarah scored a great goal to tie the game with 2 MINUTES LEFT! It was extremely exciting!! Our team is 2nd place overall, just barely behind the RED team, and we are tied for first place in the playoffs!
The rest of our games this summer are going to be at the Union Gas Education Center. And pictures finally came in this past week, so whoever was not at the past game will get theirs soon.
