I first used it.. as a negative response...
..to all of the bogus body-builder, and obvious male model pics...
that so many other guys were using in my favorite chat rooms.
It just seemed to fit the handle "Corruptible."
The funny part of it was... though many people immediately came back with "I love Gary Oldman!"
A lot of folks thought it was really a picture of me (broken bottle eye-scar and all!), and I had to laugh.
These days.....I normally broadcast my own image ....
So I don't use Gary anymore.
Who knows what I might look like ?
Just "Me"!

Personally, I think that Homophobia (in men) is the result

that under the right circumstances,

My Grand-Pa (my Mother's Father) was a Decorated Veteran of Utah Beach, France, Belgium, and Germany....

He enlisted in the U.S. Army at age 38, to go fight the Nazis in the second world war.
(His oldest Son went too...)

From early 2001 'til the end of 2003, when I met and fell in love with Shannon...
I moved around quite a bit.
I was experiencing a period in my life that was pretty tumultuous.
A few of the other places I was "lurking" around were near....

in Dwarf, KY
My Kinfolk still live there... in the same hollow.

Before, and after Kentucky....
"Home" since 1988.
On the edge of the
"Clearwater National Forest"
I will always call ..Idaho.. "My Home",
(by the way Shannon's from Grangeville, Idaho)
..I worked for 8 1/2 years,
...in one of Idaho's
...many {fun-filled}  State Correctional Facilities.
I left that profession...
...and went to work as a Commercial Truck Driver...
Driving a Semi-Tractor-Trailer Rig...
"Long Haul"...
I took a break...from working "Over the Road" for a few months,
and worked for the same company as what they call a "Yard Goat"...
Moving trailers ...back and forth.... between loading docks...and a parking lot...
where the Long Haul Drivers picked them up... and took them over the road!
After that, I went back on the road for a few years,
I even bought my own rig, and contracted myself out for a while...
But that's history now !
My kids,... and family,... and many friends,
are spread all over the country!
I got to see them quite often when I was on the road,
but you can't have a regular life out there. No More Long Haul!
Shortly after moving to Texas, and for two years
I worked in a machine shop....
that specializes in compressor valve service and repair.
On the day before "Good Friday" 2006, I was the victim of a layoff.
My position, like many others these days, was eliminated.
The day I fondly refer to now as "Good Thursday".

I'm back in the truck driving profession now.
Not one of those "Long Haul" things....
I drive for a local Oil and Equipment Company.
Pulling Oversize Loads. I pick up and deliver crude oil storage tanks.
I get home every night....which works well for Me and Shannon.
I have a second job too.
Whenever I don't drive, I'm working at:

Moving away from Idaho...
That's something I thought would never happen.
But things change... and we change with them.
Change is truly the only thing that is consistant on our trail of life.
I miss the many friends and relatives I have made in Idaho.
The truth is....I carry them with me, and all of their influences ...always!
I know I will not be gone for good though...I will always return to those mountains....
And when I leave this life...
and solve the Great Mystery...
My Spirit will travel back there, and it will be my home ...again
