Although the web site is primarily for the alumni of these classes, there is probably something of interest for other alumni and friends of Commack High School South (Commack, New York).

Commack High School South was built in the baby boom of the 1960's. It opened in 1968 and closed twenty years later in 1988. Its first graduating class was the Class of 1970. The school was a state-of-the-art school in its time. Even though we started class in the midst of hanging wires and bustling construction workers, we knew we had something special at South.

When the baby boom ended and the number of students declined, CHSS
became Commack Middle School. What we used to call Commack High School North became Commack High School--its original name.
The Spartans of CHSS and the Rams of CHSN are no longer;
the Cougars of Commack now rule!
