Welcome to Club Lavender! This Club was started by Bonnie Anderson to bring together the lesbian community in the Mid-South area. You have reached this website because you were selected by one of your peers to be an important member of the club. Membership currently does not cost anything. However, the very existence of Club Lavender is dependent on your active participation and your continuing to recruit good members. All you need to do is send me the email addresses of people you think would be interested in joining Club Lavender. Please don't send everyone you know. Send me the email addresses of lesbians you would want to socialize with. I will then contact them via email and ask them if they want to join the club. I will also be contacting you to so please respond to my emails and let me know if you are interested in joining Club Lavender. If the women you refer do not have access to a computer then you can email me their phone number. In the meantime, review the Interest Groups and let me know in your emails which Interest Groups you want to participate in. Also, let me know if it is OK for me to use your name and email address on the website for contact information. It is important that you let me know in your email if you are single or in a relationship. There will be certain events scheduled for singles, committed couples, and everyone combined. If your relationship status changes you can email me at that time to let me know and the adjustments will be made. I will never sell this list of names. Members may know your name and email address if you chose to give it to them. I will not list your names on this website because some people do not want to be OUTED to anyone who may come accross this website by accident. Your names and email addresses will not be posted on this website unless you give me permission to use your contact info as a leader of some of the Interest Groups. Your name and email address does NOT need to be posted on the website for you to be a part of the Interest Groups. I will keep that info privately at my home. Simple...My hope is that this website will serve as a way for women to meet women outside of their circle of friends. Also, my dream is to help women meet other women and hopefully find their mate for life. This website will connect women to help them form friends and have functions so they won't have to be alone during the holidays. Hopefully, as the club grows, Club Lavender will be able to help the elderly lesbian women in the Club. Many of us may not have a partner or children to take us to Doctors appointments when we are too sick, disabled, old or able to drive. It will be important for us to join together to help each other because there isn't a group formed to help elderly or disabled lesbians in the Mid-South. Also, many of us do not have family that live in the Mid-South area to help us if we go to the hospital. We need to join together to help care for our pets when we are incapacitated. Also, I hope that some of you will want to help different charities that we may adopt to help in the future as our Club expands. Also, the main reason I started this website was to help two wonderful single women friends of mine to hopefully find their mate for life as I have. These women did not want to go to bars to meet women and they didn't know any women in their circle of friends that they wanted to pursue. In other circles at various functions, they didn't know who was single and who wasn't. Well, Club Lavender is just the place for them to find friends with similar interests, companions for different events, and hopefully a mate for life. This Club will serve as a club to help people meet and form lifelong friendships and companions whether they are single or not. The women in this club become members because someone thought they are special. Also, it is free! No personal ads or costly by the minute fees all the while you are left wondering if you are talking to a real weirdo. Again, remember to tell me if you are single or not as I will soon be posting an event for the single women and hopefully by the holidays the single women of Club Lavender will be snuggling with Miss Right!!
