FIRST row- 8 ch., join into a ring.

Second row - 16 s. c. into the ring

Third row - 6 ch., 1 d. c. into second s. c., * 3 ch., 1 d. c. into second s.c.; repeat from * 6 times, 3 ch., join with a sl. st. into the third ch.

Fourth row - * 6 s. c. over the next three ch., turn, 6 ch., 1 s. c. into the first s. c., turn, 11 s. c. over the 6 ch.; repeat from * 8 times, join with a sl. st.
