Starting at center, ch 6. Join with sl st to form ring.

1st rnd: Ch 5, (dc in ring. ch 2) 11 times. Join to 3rd ch of ch-5 (12 sps).

2nd rnd: Sl st in next sp, ch 4, 3 tr in same sp. 4 tr in each sp around. Join.

3rd rnd: Ch 5, * skip next tr, dc in next tr, ch 1. Repeat from * around. Join to 3rd ch of ch-5 (24 sps).

4th rnd: Sl st to next sp, ch 7, sc in 4th ch from hook (picot made), * dc in next sp, ch 4, picot. Repeat from * around. Join.

5th rnd: Sl st to center of next picot, sc in same picot, * ch 5, sc in next picot. Repeat from * around. Join.

6th rnd: Sl st to center of next loop. sc in same loop, * ch 5, sc in next loop. Repeat from * around. Join.

7th rnd: Sl st in next loop, ch 4, 12 tr in same loop, * ch 2, sc in next loop, ch 2, 13 tr in next loop. Repeat from * around. Join.

8th rnd: Ch 3, dc in back loop of next 12 tr, * ch 2, dc in back loop of next 13 tr. Repeat from * around. Join.

9th rnd: Sl st in next dc, ch 3, dc in back loop of next 10 dc, * ch 2, dc in next sp, ch 2, skip next dc. dc in back loop of next 11 dc. Repeat from * around. Join.

10th rnd: Sl st in next dc, ch 3, dc in back loop of next 8 dc, * (ch 2, dc in next sp) twice; ch 2, skip next dc, dc in back loop of next 9 dc. Repeat from * around. Join.

11th, 12th and 13th rnds: Work as for 10th rnd, having 2 dc less on each dc group and 1 sp more between groups on each rnd.

14th rnd: Ch 5, * skip next dc, dc in next dc, (ch 2, dc in next sp) 6 times, ch 2, dc in next dc. Repeat from * around. Join to 3rd ch of ch-5.

15th rnd: Sl st in next sp, ch 3. 2 dc in same sp, * ch 3, sc in next sp, ch 3, 3 dc in next sp. Repeat from * around. Join.

16th to 25th rnds incl: Sl st in next 2 dc and in next loop, ch 3, 2 dc in same loop, * ch 3, sc in next loop, ch 3, 3 dc in next loop. Repeat from * around. Join.

26th to 30th rnds incl: Work as for 16th rnd, making ch-4 loops instead of ch-3.

31st rnd: Sl st in next 2 dc and in next loop, ch 3, 2 dc in same loop, * ch 3, 3 dc in next loop. Repeat from * around. Join.

32nd rnd: Sl st in next dc, ch 4, * in next sp make (dc, ch 1) twice; dc in center dc of next group, ch 1. Repeat from * around. Join to 3rd of ch-4.

33rd rnd: Sl st in next sp, sc in same sp, * ch 5, skip next sp, sc in next sp. Repeat from * around. Join (144 loops).

34th rnd: Sl st to center of next loop, sc in same loop, * ch 5, sc in next loop. Repeat from * around. Join.

35th rnd: Sl st to center of next loop, sc in same loop, * in next loop make (dc, ch 2) 7 times and dc; (sc in next loop, ch 3) 4 times; sc in next loop. Repeat from * around. Join.

36th rnd: Sl st in next dc and in next sp, ch 4, 2 tr in same sp, 3 tr in each of next 6 sps, * skip next ch-3 loop, sc in next loop, ch 5, sc in next loop, 3 tr in each of next 7 ch-2 sps. Repeat from * around. Join.

37th rnd: Ch 5, * (skip next tr, dc in next tr, ch 2) 10 times, ch 2, sc in next loop, ch 2, dc in next tr, ch 2. Repeat from * around. Join to 3rd ch of ch-5.

38th rnd: Sl st in next sp, ch 7, make a picot as before, (dc in next sp, picot) 9 times; * dc in next 2 sps, picot, (dc in next sp, picot) 10 times. Repeat from * around. Join and break off. Starch lightly and press.
