Row 1-Ch. 8, 1 D. C. in same Ch. as slip St., Ch. 2, skip 2 Ch., 1 D. C. in next Ch. in ring, * Ch. 5, 1 D. C. in same Ch. (corner), Ch. 2, skip 2 Ch., 1 D. C. in next Ch., repeat from * 2 times, ending with a slip st. in 3rd Ch. of Ch. 8.

Row 2-Ch. 5, * 1 D. C. in 3rd Ch. of corner, Ch. 5, 1 D. C. in same Ch. (corner), Ch. 2, 1 D. C. in next D. C., Ch. 2, 1 D. C. in next D. C., Ch. 2, repeat from * 3 times, ending with a slip st. in 3rd Ch. of Ch. 5.
