DAISY MERCERIZED CR0CHET COTTON, Art. 65: 1 skein White, Size 30; or

LILY MERCROCHET MERCERIZED CROCHET COTTON, Art. 161: 1 ball 'White, Size 30.

No. 12 Steel Crochet Hook. Edging Size 1 3/8 inches wide.

1st MEDALLION-Ch 7, join with sl st to form ring.

Row 1: Ch 1, 8 sc in ring, join with sl st in 1 lp of 1st sc.

Row 2: Ch 5, 5 tr in same sc, (chi 5, sk 1 sc, 6 tr in 1 lp of next sc) 3 times, ch 5, join with sl st in top of ch-5.

Row 3: Ch 1, sc in same st, sc in next 2 tr, * ch 3, sc in next 3 tr, ch 3, ** (dc, ch 4, dc) in center ch of next ch-5, ch 3, sc in next 3 tr. Repeat from * around. Join to 1st sc. Fasten off.

2nd MEDALLION: Repeat to ** in Row 3. Dc in center ch of next ch-5, ch 2, Sl st in one point of 1st Medallion, ch 2, dc back in same st on 2d Medallion, ch 3, sc in next 3 tr. Complete as for 1st Medallion. Continue to join Medallions by opposite corners for desired length.

HEADING ROW: Join to top corner of 1st Medallion, * ch 10, dtr in next p on side of Medallion, ch 2, dtr in p on side of next Medallion, ch 10, sc in top corner. Repeat from * to end. Fasten off.

Stretch and pin right-side-down. Steam and press dry thru a cloth.
