BLUE LABEL, Size 20; 2 balls of White.
5 STEEL KNITTING NEEDLES No. 14.
STEEL CROCHET HOOK No. 7.
MEASUREMENTS: 8 1/2 inches square.
Commence with 4 ch, join with a ss.
* Into centre work 1 sc leaving 1 loop on hook, repeat from * having 1 more loop on hook after each repeat until there arc 8 loops on hook. Divide on to needles (2 sts on each of 4 needles), follow diagram. Diagram gives one-fourth of mat and is repeated 3 times more on each row.
62nd row: Insert crochet hook in last knitted st, crochet 10 ch, leaving st on needle, work 1 sc into next 5 sts, inserting hook purlwise, 10 ch, 1 sc into next 5 sts, 10 ch, 1 sc into next 5 sts, * 10 ch, 1 sc into next 3 sts, * 10 ch, 1 sc into next 5 sts, repeat from last * 3 times more. Repeat from first * to end of row, ending with 10 ch, 1 sc into next 3 sts, 10 ch, 1 sc into next 5 sts, 1 ss into first ch. Break off thread.
