Tablecloth measures 60 x 80 inches.

GAUGE: Each motif measures 3 inches from point to point.

FIRST MOTIF . . . Starting at center, ch 20. Join with sl st to form ring.

1st rnd: 48 sc in ring. Join.

2nd rnd: Ch 4, holding back on hook the last loop of each tr, make 2 tr in first sc, thread over and draw through all loops on hook (cluster made), * ch 9, skip 4 sc, 3-tr cluster in next sc, ch 6, skip 2 sc, cluster in next sc. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 6, sl st in tip of first cluster.

3rd rnd: Sl st in next sp, ch 3, in same sp make 4 dc, ch 3 and 5 dc; * ch 2, sc in next sp, ch 2, in next sp make 5 dc, ch 3 and 5 dc. Repeat from * around. Join.

4th rnd: Ch 3, dc in next 4 dc, * in next sp make 2 dc, ch 3 and 2 dc; dc in next 5 dc, ch 2, sc over next sc and into ch-6 loop of 2nd rnd, ch 2, dc in next 5 dc. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 2. Join.

5th rnd: Ch 3, dc in next 6 dc, * in next sp make 2 dc, ch 3 and 2 dc; dc in next 14 dc. Repeat from * around, ending with dc in last 7 dc. Join and break off.

SECOND MOTIF . . . Work as for First Motif until 4 rnds are completed.

5th rnd: Ch 3, dc in next 6 dc, (2 dc in next sp, ch 1, sl st in corresponding sp on First Motif, ch 1, 2 dc in same sp on Second Motif, dc in next 14 dc) twice. Complete rnd as for First Motif (no more joinings).

Make 663 motifs, joining adjacent sides as Second Motif was joined to First Motif, alternating 1 row of 27 motifs and 1 row of 26 motifs, until 25 rows are completed.

EDGING . . . Attach thread to any joining, sc closely around, making 2 sc in each sp at joinings, sc in each dc, and 5 sc in each corner sp. Join and break off.
