INSTRUCTIONS

Ch. 28, 1 D. C. in fourth Ch. from hook, Ch. 2, skip 2, 1 D. C. in each of next 2 Ch., Ch. 5, skip 4, 1 S. C. in next Ch., Ch. 5, skip 4, 1 D. C. in each of next 2 Ch., Ch. 2, skip 2, 2 D. C. in last 2 Ch., Ch. 3, turn.

Row 2 - 1 D. C. in second D. C., Ch. 2, 2 D. C. on 2 D. C., 2 D. C. in next 2 Ch;, Ch. 5, 1 S. C. in centre loop, Ch. 5, 4 D. C., Ch. 2, 2 D. C. to end, Ch. 7, turn.

Row 3 - 2 D. C., Ch. 2, 4 D. C. on 4 D. C., 3 D. C. on Ch., Ch. 5, 3 D. C. on next Ch. loop, 4 D. C., Ch. 2, 2 D. C. to end, Ch. 3, turn.

Row 4 - 2 D. C., Ch. 2, 4 D. C., Ch. 5, 1 S. C. in loop, Ch. 5, 4 D. C., Ch. 2, 2 D. C. to end of row, 12 D. C. in loop of 7 Ch., fasten with Sl. St. to next row, Ch. 3, Sl. St. to next row, turn.

Row 5 - Ch. 3, S. C. in third Ch. for picot, 1 D. C. before first D. C. of 12, * make picot, 1 D. C. between next 2 D. C. of scallop, repeat from * across scallop, 2 D. C. on 2 D. C. in previous row, Ch. 2, 2 D. C., Ch. 5, 1 S. C. in next Ch. loop, Ch. 5, 1 S. C. in next Ch. loop, Ch. 5, 2 D. C., Ch. 2, 2 D. C. to end.

Continue working in pattern and begin new scallop at end of every sixth row.

Omit scallops for insertion.
